The HF 520 introduces the revolutionary, studio-style glass sash concept to timber-aluminium windows. With no visible sash frame from the outside, it appears like fixed glazing while delivering full opening functionality. The slim frame increases the glass area for maximum light transmission and a refined architectural look.

Inside, natural timber brings warmth and character; outside, aluminium cladding ensures long-term durability and minimal maintenance. I-tec Glazing bonds the pane around the entire perimeter for stability, airtightness and enhanced energy efficiency.

Performance at a glance: Uw up to 0.71 W/m²K for thermal comfort, sound reduction up to 47 dB for quiet interiors, and security options up to RC2 with fully concealed locking for a clean, modern finish.

Features:

  • Design: Studio look with flush glass sash, no visible outer sash frame.
  • Materials: Timber interior with aluminium exterior for weather resistance.
  • Construction depth: 90 mm installation depth.
  • Sealing: 3 black perimeter gaskets for dependable airtightness.
  • Opening types: Fixed, turn, turn/tilt, and tilt.
  • Locking & hardware: Fully concealed locking for minimalist aesthetics.
  • Mullion sizes (2 sashes): frame/sash 101 mm; flying mullion 109 mm; mullion 181 mm.

Benefits:

  • More daylight: Slim frames and glass sash maximise visible glass area.
  • Energy efficiency: Uw up to 0.71 W/m²K supports low heating demand.
  • Acoustic comfort: Up to 47 dB sound reduction for quieter living.
  • Security: Options up to RC2 with robust, concealed locking.
  • Natural aesthetics: Choice of timber species and finishes for bespoke interiors.
  • Low maintenance: Aluminium exterior resists weathering and requires minimal upkeep.

Ideal for contemporary homes seeking maximum daylight, clean lines and high performance. Combine the HF 520 with the KF 520 externally to achieve a unified façade while choosing different interior materials.
