AT-ECO is proud to have supplied the high-performance windows and doors for Black Barn Studios, a truly exceptional example of sustainable architecture. This stunning repurposed barn showcases a commitment to minimising environmental impact through innovative design and construction, achieving Passivhaus principles and winning the Sustainability Prize in the AJ Small Projects Awards 2023.
Our contribution included the installation of HF 410 windows and HS 330 lift-and-slide doors. These high-performance products played a crucial role in achieving the building's exceptional airtightness (0.3ACH @ 50Pa) and energy efficiency. The result is a beautiful and functional workspace that exemplifies environmentally responsible building practices. By significantly reducing energy consumption, this project serves as a model for future sustainable designs.
